When you say “exercise caution” pertaining to Lance, what do you mean? That he is being undervalued now? or the opposite? I’m trying to get a feel on Lance’s “True” value(if possible lol) as he def seems like the most polarizing QB when it comes to rankings and the dynasty communities opinion of him. I personally can’t believe the 49ers are NOT going to give him EVERY chance to be the starter this coming season. They gave up SO MUCH to take him at 1.03 in the draft, and I highly doubt Purdy is ready for Week 1. Why wouldn’t they give Lance ALL the reps, see what he’s got, and then in Week 4 or 5, if he’s NOT the “guy,” go back to a HEALTHY Purdy. Seems reasonable to me, and seems kinda like “giving up” if they dont give Lance the chance now. I mean he is still ONLY 23, and has only played like 5.5 NFL games
